Purchasing a gun online is really, very easy. Here's how it works when you find a deal, clearance item, or special through our deals aggregation platform.

Important: GunSale.deals is a deals, clearance, and specials aggregation service. We do not sell firearms directly. All purchases are made through licensed retailers who are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws.

Important Notice

Disclaimer: GunSale.deals is a deals, clearance, and specials aggregation service only. We are not firearms dealers, manufacturers, or associated with any specific retailer. We simply aggregate deals, clearance items, and special promotions and provide links to licensed dealers. All firearms sales are conducted directly between you and the licensed retailer. We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or services of any third-party retailers listed on our platform.

There Are Only Three Simple Steps

1. Find the gun you want

Use our deals aggregation platform to find the firearm you want on sale, clearance, or special promotion. Browse by category, use filters, and discover discounted items from multiple retailers.

Note: We only show you deals, clearance items, and specials. We don't sell firearms directly.

2. Choose your FFL dealer

Click through to the retailer's website and complete your purchase. The retailer cannot ship a gun directly to you - they ship to a local FFL dealer of your choice. Any legitimate gun store, gun dealer, pawn shop, or collector with an FFL license can handle the transfer.

Here's how to arrange a shipment and transfer:

  • Find a licensed FFL dealer in your area
  • Contact the dealer and let them know you want to receive a firearm for transfer
  • Ask about their FFL transfer fee (commonly around $25 but varies by state)
  • If you agree to their fee, arrange the transfer with your FFL dealer
  • Provide your dealer's information to the retailer when placing your order
  • The retailer will ship to your chosen FFL dealer

3. Pick up your gun

Once the firearm arrives at your FFL dealer, go there to complete the transfer. You'll need to fill out ATF Form 4473 and pass a background check through NICS.

VERY IMPORTANT: Inspect the firearm thoroughly before accepting the transfer. If there are any problems whatsoever, DO NOT ACCEPT THE TRANSFER! Contact the retailer immediately.

What to bring when picking up your firearm: Valid government-issued photo ID (Driver's License or State ID), any required permits or licenses (varies by state), and payment for FFL transfer fees and any applicable taxes.

Age Requirements

You must check your local and state laws, but generally:

  • Rifles and shotguns: Must be 18 or older
  • Handguns: Must be 21 or older
  • Complete AR or AK receivers: Must be 21 or older
  • Ammunition: 18+ for rifle/shotgun ammo, 21+ for handgun ammo

Important: You must also be a legal resident of the state in which you wish to transfer the firearm. The only exception is active duty military personnel.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I purchase ammunition online?

Most states allow ammunition to be shipped directly to your home or place of business. Federal law requires you to be at least 18 years old for shotgun or rifle ammunition, and 21 years or older for handgun ammunition.

Check your local and state laws before ordering ammunition online.

What if I live in California?

Yes, you can purchase firearms, but handguns and rifles are heavily restricted in CA. If the firearm does not appear on California's Department of Justice Roster of Handguns Certified for Sale, the seller cannot ship it to California.

It's up to you to ensure that the rifle or shotgun is permitted for sale in your state. Firearms shipping to California with magazine capacity greater than 10 will ship without magazines unless stated as California Compliant.

Important Reminders

Straw Purchasing is ILLEGAL: A Straw Purchase is the act of purchasing a firearm intended for another person. This is illegal and we do not condone this act.

Check Your Local Laws: Firearm laws vary significantly by state. Before purchasing, research your state's specific requirements including waiting periods, permit requirements, and restricted firearms.

Safety First:

  • Always treat every firearm as if it's loaded
  • Never point a firearm at anything you don't intend to shoot
  • Keep your finger off the trigger until ready to fire
  • Store firearms securely when not in use
  • Consider taking a firearms safety course
